Unable to acquire V-Ray for Rhino GUI License. I just installed 30 day trial for V-Ray for Rhino. When i click V-ray render in Rhino, the above notice shows up. SOLVED: AFter installing V-Ray Trial Chaos sign up. If you obtain your V-Ray license from a license server on another computer - make sure your operating system's firewall or the firewall on the license server computer is not blocking TCP port 30304.
Issue:
Revit launches and successfully obtains a network license, but when you try to save a project or go to About Autodesk Revit it says that it is unable to obtain a network license. Your only options are Enter Viewer Mode and Exit Revit. This affects other flavors of Revit also, not just regular Revit.
Causes:
The capitalization of the license server in the LICPATH.LIC file or ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE environment variable does not match the capitalization in the license file.![Unable To Acquire Vray For Rhino Gui License Unable To Acquire Vray For Rhino Gui License](http://www.cadinternational.com/cadinternational/images/faq-shots/FQ-0000302-01-unable-to-checkout-vray-gui-license.png)
Solution:
If you are using the LICPATH.LIC file:- Navigate to C:Program FilesAutodeskRevit 201x. (For 2017 products the LICPATH.LIC file is in C:ProgramDataAutodeskCLMLGS<ProductKey>.0.0.F.)
- Open the LICPATH.LIC file in Notepad.
- Compare the capitalization of the server name with the license file on the license server and correct any discrepancies. (If you use redundant or distributed servers you will need to make sure that all of the servers listed in the LICPATH.LIC file are correctly capitalized.)
- Save the LICPATH.LIC file. (You may need to save it to a different location and then copy it to this folder if Windows prevents you from saving it directly to this folder.)
If you are using the ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE environment variable:
- Go to Control Panel > System.
- In the left menu, click the Advanced system settings.
- Click Environment Variables.
- Locate the ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE variable and double-click on it.
- Compare the capitalization of the server name with the license file on the license server and correct any discrepancies. (If you use redundant or distributed servers you will need to make sure that all of the servers listed in the variable are correctly capitalized.)
- Click OK to save the changes.
